Was 1990 before Stave started including the bisquits
with its 2 way puzzles?
I remember reading that it could be put together 64 ways;63 incorrect. Do you recall what the objective is
with this beautiful little puzzle?

The Quest. Tedious comes up frequently when discussing this puzzle; even by its creator. For me this was not the case. It took me 7 years to find one then
3 months to put it together. It was worth the wait.
I suppose one persons cognac might be anothers hemlock.

I was born at the University of Chicago Hospital, lived in Hyde Park, eventually got a masters from Northweswtern and lived in Evanston. At one point, I had an apartment very close to the Watertower. A friend of my mother's used to work at IMagnin...a store that was a cross the street from the Watertower for decades. The friend was an opera singer, who sang for the Civic Opera, but picked up extra change, and a wardrobe, working at that store! I think it's gone now.
